Exercising
I have been so good this week with working out. I usually dread going to the gym. For some reason I was pumped and excited to go I even went in the morning at 5 am and in the evening. If you know me well enough you know something is wrong because I like to sleep till the last possible minute. I am not sure what is wrong with me but I think I can handle being this way. I have so much energy and have been enjoying the "gym life". I get to catch up on the news in the morning and in the evening I watch the sports channel. Then I listen to my mp3 player. I need to come up with some new music to put on there because I have listened to it so much this week. I am totally enjoying this new lifestyle. I am hoping that it will pay off in the end. My workout consists of the elliptical for 30-40 minutes, the stationary bike for 25 minutes. By the end of my workout I have done 8-10 miles. Before I would be so tired that I would just want to lay on the couch. Not now I go home and just keep going whether its picking things up, cleaning, going through things. I usually don't stop till 9 and then I go through all the shows I dvr and in bed by 10.

weigh in
Well I had my first weigh in at Weight Watchers this week. I have lost 3 pounds since last wednesday. That made me excited. I thought it would be more but after talking to a few people they told me I have to make sure I eat all my points and the other points. Well I hadn't been doing that I would be short just about everyday. Last night was the first night I hit all them and I feel great today I have a ton of energy and I just want to go go go. So I have changed my goals that I had set at the beginning of the year. My goal is by the time my sister graduates (May 11, 2008) to be at my 10% or less. I really like this program and it is helping me learn so many things. If you are struggling like I was go and make this lifestyle change it is definetly worth it.

Will be back
I haven't been blogging because I am still dealing with my grandpa's death and trying to get back into everyday life. This week has been quite hectic with trying to get things done that I didn't do last week. Tomorrow is going to be cleaning day. I usually do it through the week but that didn't happen to much the last couple of weeks. Just the main things no deep cleaning like i usually do. I have started a new diet this week or they call it a new lifestyle. I have joined weight watchers. I have had family members join it and have great success. So I have decided what the heck give it a shot. Well I hope everyone had a great week and successful on there diets!

Thank you
Thank you to everyone! This week has been a long and stressful week. Thanks to everyone that traveled in for the funeral it meant a lot to all of us. It was good seeing everyone just wish it wasn't under those circumstances. Grandpa is in a better place now with Grandma Mary Lou. He isn't suffering. Once again thanks to everyone! I do have a post in the making of things about my grandpa and some different stories that were told.
Hope everyone made it home safe!

Ideas
I am always looking for new ideas of things to eat. I thought I would share with everyone on what some of the different things I do.
Breakfast:
honey nut cheerios with skim milk and some bananas cut up on top
english muffin with strawberry jelly
weight control oatmeal
Morning snacks:
carrots and tomatoes with fat free zesty italian dressing
fat free yogart
fat free pudding
pretzals
Lunch:
Turkey sandwich on Wonder bread that is 40 calories with a slice of colby jack cheese
Salad and soup
Subway
Afternoon snack:
popcorn
grapes (when they are cheaper)
my 100 calorie kudos bar
special k bar
Dinner:
This is probably one of my hardest one because I love my potatoes and red meat. However I have went to eating chicken quite a bit
Chicken in the slow cooker
3-4 chicken breasts
1 can of reduced fat cream of mushroom
1 can of reduced fat cream of chicken
1 cup of milk
mix it all together and throw in the slow cooker for 8-10 hours. Love this just had it last night!
I grill chicken at least 2 or 3 times a week on my indoor grill. Sometimes i just put it on a bed of lettuce with some tomatoes on the side. I have also bought jennie-o ground turkey. it isn't to bad but you have to definetly season it when it cooks. I will do some more thinking about what I eat. Hope this helps some. If you have any ideas please share!!!!!
