Off Early

I am so excited I get off early today. I am not sure what I will do. Bill and I cleaned the carpets at the old place last night. So I might go and hand the keys over. I am sad but glad to be done with that place. The management was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend moving into a Richdale or Slosburg property. They just want your money and don't care about the place once its occupied. I had a beautiful saphire ring bill bought me. Well needless to say one of the maintances female person in there life now has it. I couldn't prove it because they claim they weren't in there that day. Yeah sure I just misplace a $325 ring on purpose when it was there when I was home for lunch but come home 4 hours later and its gone.

This weekend its suppose to rain and be cooler. Bill will be working on the race cars since racing starts Tuesday this next week. I think I am going to bake a little bit and clean the apartment. Try to come up with something fun to bake that isn't to unhealthy for you. If you have any ideas let me know. Have a great weekend!

Love it

Its raining and I love it. Well I love all weather each one lets me do certain things. The rain smells so fresh and clean outside. It is thundering and lightning. I can't wait to get off work so I can go home and open the house up. Tonight I am going to do stuff at the new place. I am going to adventure out and get a new vacuum and a waffle maker. Oh how exciting! I'm able to get off work early today because I am sitting at 35 hours for the week and have 8 more hours tomorrow. I am not suppose to have over time so most likely I will be getting off early tomorrow.

What type of weather do you love?

Girls Nite Out

Last night was Girls Nite Out, its a group of about 20 ladies that get together after work for dinner and drinks. Its once a month at the end of the month. I really didn't want to go last night because I only have a few days left until I hand over the old apartment keys and I still have a ton to do. Luckily Bill is having his friends help today with getting the washer and dryer out of the place. So tonight it will be on like no other with cleaning. Hopefully I can get everything done except for cleaning the carpets. I have a whole months rent of a deposit there so I am doing anything and everything to get that place looking spotless so I can have it back. Anyways last night at girls nite we picked a place that is called Stumble Inn, it was Ladies Night so half off drinks and they have a mechanical bull there is free bull rides for the Ladies. I was very disappointed in the place.

My big thing about going to places outside of the city limits is the smoking. Omaha passed a law back in October that smoking is banned from a place that serves food unless they have keno. So this place was outside of the city limits and they had keno so people could smoke. Doesn't do well with people like me that can't stand to smell like someones cigerette just so that they can enjoy killing themselves. Needless to say I was only at girls nite for a half hour last night. Hopefully next month we will have it where there is no smoking. The state of Nebaska however is trying to pass a statewide ban on smoking. I think that would be great. However you hear the smokers complain about how the non smokers will be crying about taxes when we don't have there cigerette taxes. I look at it well at least I can breathe cleaner air without you blowing smoke in my face. I have a right also just like they do.

Addictions

My cousin Stephanie has admitted what her addiction has been lately. Well it made me think what are some of my addictions. I have a pretty big list but its nothing really bad.

1. Sweets I am addicted to sweets. I can do so good on a diet and then I crave sweets. Its terrible but I have to have something sweet everyday. So I make it something small.

2. The internet mainly any racing website, facebook, myspace, blogspot and the news! I am weird I know but I am addicted to the news I love to know what is going on with the news.

3. Soda- I have to have one every day. I try not to go over two though.

4. Grey's Anatomy- My friends know not to call me during it or plan anything because I am sitting there watching it. I have bill watching it now. I love this show I can't get enough. Dr. McDreamy is so cute!

5. Getting my hair done. I am constantly doing something different every 6-8 weeks. It is such an addiction and I really need to break it because I could save a lot of money.

What are your addictions?

6 things about me

1. I love to cook. I always want to try new things but I am such a picky eater. It becomes tough but I do find things to try.

2. I want to elope and then have a big reception/pool party when we return. Don't anyone try talking me out of it because this is my dream now.

3. I sleep with 6 pillows. I feel protected by them.

4. I am fascinated with any type of make over show, flip that house anything to do with designing or improving things.

5. I am very much in love with my boyfriend and family. I am so happy that they all get along and they have accepted him into the family.

6. Photography and racing is my last thing about me. I love both very much and I enjoy it because I can do both at the same time. I am just not the one racing. Bill is and I get to take photos with of him. I can't wait for this season to start we got a new camera.

Now its your turn!

Blogging

Well I am finally getting the hang of this slowly. I was able to put one picture up. Hopefully I can get some more up. I realized I don't have any recent photos of me. The one I posted last night was from my parents 25th wedding anniversary. I have lost most of that weight and my hair is a lot longer and red with blond highlights. Hopefully I can get a more up to date one.

The whole putting links on the page still has me stumped. I will get it figured out one of these days though. I have a new computer at home but for some reason it keeps telling me the security certificates are unsafe. So once I figure that problem out it will be on to my blogging issues. I am trying to keep everyone up to date though.

This weekend was beautiful and just wonderful. Saturday Bailey was over we made angel food cake, played the game clue ( i love that game), had dinner and watched a movie with bill. Sunday I worked and the family went to Logan Iowa to Auggie's baptism (Scott and Sarah Moss's son) Well off to lunch! Have a great day!

Sundays

I love Sundays they can be so relaxing. I get up and waitress from 7-1 every Sunday. Bill and I go have lunch after that and then we come home, watch the Nascar races. Then we go out on the Harley if the weather is nice. I can't wait I am trying a new hairdo for on the bike so it isn't all blowing in my face we will have to wait and see. I am going to try and put a picture up here either today or tomorrow. Hopefully I can figure it out. Well I hope the weekend was good for everyone.

Raining

Well I got woke up at 4:15 due to a thunderstorm. It was great I love storms. I sleep like a baby. Which I did when I fell back to sleep. I am so far in the clear for having to go into work. The waitress that was going to be let go, got another chance due to we have no one else except me which I can't take time off from my other job. I really want to go on vacation this year so that is why I don't want to take time off.

My plans have changed for the most part I am going to relax this morning and maybe watch a movie. Then Bailey is coming over around 4 so I can watch her. I am making a really good dinner for her. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy yum I can't wait. Hopefully going to sit down and plan my vacation time for the summer today. My cousin Jess and I try to go away together that way we can share expenses. Tomorrow I have to work and then we will watch the Nascar race. I love racing but hate how much time is put into it. Well off to watch a movie.

Responsibility

I know growing up mom and dad made sure each of us kids had responsibilities to do. If we didn't there was consequences. We never got allowance because we got to go out to dinner or shopping with mom during the week. I remember when I wanted to get a job dad made it clear that I had to go every day no matter what. What happened to parents teaching there kids this responsibility?

With owning your own business I see it on a weekly basis of people not being responsible and leaving the owner high and dry. Do people think of how much of a bind they put someone in? I understand this is part of owning a business but come on people. The thing that drives me nuts on top of this is these people have kids, what are you teaching your kids? This is going to impact there lives. They are going to think well my mom or dad did it so its okay.

I've been told that the way I think about stuff like this that the day I have kids they are going to be the most respectful kids around. I hope that my friends are right because I can't stand when a child is disrespectful to adults or other kids. Now that I have vented about this situation on to the weekend plans.

My weekend plans have been changed slightly. I will be working all weekend and babysitting Bailey on saturday night, Mom and dad are going out to dinner with some friends. Mary is going to be working. Bill is going to work on the race cars and his friends are coming over so they can split up all the deer meat. Which is a good thing because we can have jerky and all that other good stuff. Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

Good News

I just heard from mom that Kathryn's (grandpa's new wife) heart is back into rhytm and everything went good today. That is a good thing!

Its another day at work at least it isn't raining yet. There is a chance but who knows if it will happen. Tonight it is back to the old apartment to clean and hopefully all that will be left to do is clean carpets next week. I can't wait to be done with that place. There was way to many problems with the management over there. After cleaning, Bill and I will sit down and watch grey's anatomy together. It is his night though with the guys so who knows if we will watch it or not. It is two weeks away from racing season to start and I am not excited at all. I am kinda disappointed. Well its time to eat some lunch!

Hump Day

Well its Hump Day! It seems like this week is dragging. It is raining today and all I want to do is go home and curl up on the couch read a book and watch some Netflix with the fireplace going. I have had this Netflix since November and absolutely love it! Would definitely recommend it. I don't have to go to the video store they deliver it right to my mailbox and I drop it off when I drop the rest of the mail off for work. No longer being disappointed when they don't have the movie you are set on.

The apartment is finally coming together nicely. All the boxes are unpacked and put away. Still have pictures to put up on the wall but not quite sure if we are keeping the same theme as the old apartment. Bill and I went shopping last night for a few things and I got so many new ideas. Time will tell if I get my way and get to do them.

My grandfather got remarried in September last year and his wife is going into the hospital tomorrow to have her heart stopped and restarted. Please keep her in your prayers.

Mondays

Mondays are either good or bad. Haven't quite figured out what today is yet. However its just really slow. The day is dragging on and on so far. The move went so well. Everyone was completely sore all weekend but we lived through it. I just finally got over the cold I have had since January and now allergy season is gearing up. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Feelin Old

You don't realize how out of shape you are until you move from a second floor apartment to a third floor in a different complex. My muscles hurt so bad this morning. Well everyone that helped me is very sore today. Makes you feel very old! I am not even that old though. I am still young. Huge sign to get back into shape!

I was able to move all my big stuff a day early thanks to Bill and our friend Scott. They were great and got all of it moved. We have just a little left to do today and I met with the satelite people today. I am ready for a nice warm bath and massage tonight.

One more day

I have one more day and its moving day. I didn't do one bit of packing last night. Bill and I went out on the Harley because it was 80 degrees. We broke a record yesterday. I feel like i am so behind now since I didn't pack last night. It will be on tonight like no other. If you want to check out my new apartment its http://www.rentcip.com/Eaglerun/ and choose floorplans i am doing the one bedroom. It is on the third floor, it has vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. It looks over a nursery also so it will be beautiful in the spring, summer and fall.

Well if I don't make another blog which I am hoping to before my life goes hectic for the next few days. Have a safe and Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Collecting

Over the years you don't realize how much you collect until it comes time to move. I have been packing for over a week now and I feel like I have got nothing done. Moving day is only two days away. It is getting a little overwhelming now. Bill (my boyfriend) keeps telling me its all going to work out not to stress over it. How can I not though?

I have found things I didn't even realize I had until this move. You go to the store and buy this stuff thinking you are going to use it. Obviously I didn't really need it. Oh and I finally found my dad's father's day card from last year that I misplaced. It is time to do some spring cleaning during this move. Boy is the goodwill going to like me.

Well its off to another day in the office. It is suppose to be just beautiful today sunny and 70. Yes 70 in March. Only in Nebraska.

New at this

Well my cousin LaDawn goes on and on about blogging so I though I would give it a try to see if I can keep her updated on our lives over here.

Dad is still the president of the Teamsters local 554.
Mom works still at the insurance company.
I live on my own in Omaha and work for a roofing and sheet metal company. Bill and I are still together.
Mary is in her Junior year of high school and turned 18.
Bailey is 7 and loves school to death.
Angel (the shih tzu) still watches the house on a daily basis and makes sure no one gets in.

This week the blogs won't be to many because I am moving into a new apartment.
